Bus 52 was a super cool video project that traveled around the U.S. documenting local grassroots work to improve communities. They popped into Atlanta and my photography campign, Shirt Off My Back, was one of the lucky spotlights.
After the Atlanta Police raided a Midtown gay bar in 2009, I became relentlessly involved in fighting for the consitional rights of Atlanta citizens. Mayor Reed’s formation of an LGBT police advisory board was short lived and highly contested.
